CITIC Special profits rise in first quarter
CITIC Special Steel has released its first-quarter performance forecast. It expects to see net attributable profit rise from that of last year despite the underperforming market, Kallanish notes.
Although the prices for mid and low-end steel products were hit during the last two months, the price level for high-end special steels remained stable. The coronavirus had very limited impact on CITIC's sales prices in Q1, it says.
