CITIC Special reports lower profit despite rising income
Shenzhen Stock Exchange-listed CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group has reported higher operating income for the first half of 2022, but net profit attributable to shareholders fell.
CITIC Special achieved H1 total steel sales of 7.68 million tonnes, up 1% on-year, Kallanish notes from its bourse filing. The automobile, machinery and energy industries consumed 31%, 28% and 24% of sales respectively.
