CITIC Special reports falling profit despite sales growth
China’s listed CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group has reported stable revenue and falling profits for 2022, despite a small growth in annual sales, according to the company’s annual report.
Last year, the company produced 16.11 million tonnes and sold 15.18mt of steel products, up 7.42% and 4.43% year-on-year respectively, Kallanish notes. Of this, the export volume grew 20.83% from a year earlier to 1.59mt.
