CISDI upgrades Chongqing Steel converter
China MCC Group subsidiary CISDI has upgraded and commissioned the No.1 basic oxygen furnace at Chongqing Steel, a Baowu Group steel subsidiary.
Through the upgrade, the oxygen blowing time was reduced to 14 minutes, and the dust collection ability was improved, Kallanish notes. According to CISDI, this upgrade also included the rebuild of its primary, secondary, and tertiary dust collection systems, plus its utilities and CAS system.
