CISA tries to intervene in iron ore pricing
China Iron & Steel Association vice chairman Luo Tiejun says China's iron ore import pricing is unreasonable, and a variety of methods are needed to improve the relevant pricing mechanism.
Speaking at last week’s China Iron & Steel Association information conference, he noted that tight supply in December caused iron ore prices to rise more than $7/tonne in a single day. This reflects an unreasonable pricing mechanism, he added.
