CIS supports Turkey's November CR flats imports growth
Turkish cold rolled (CR) flat steel imports rose 7.6% year-on-year to 109,387 tonnes in November, thanks to increased procurement from Russia and Ukraine, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
The rise in intake was also 8.5% over October, when imports rose 3.9% y-o-y, supported by South Korea-origin supplies.
