CIS mills raise coil export prices notably
CIS-origin hot and cold rolled coil prices for export increased again last week as mills announced offer prices for their next rolling cycle, market participants tell Kallanish.
Russian producer offers for September-rolling material were heard at $515-520/t fob for HRC and $565-570/t fob for CRC in the past week. This is up by at least $20/t over the last asking prices for August-rolling coils, heard a week earlier.
