CIS HRC price hikes face resistance
CIS hot rolled coil prices remain on the ascent, in line with rising HRC prices in major import markets, having exceeded $1,000/tonne fob Black Sea just over a week ago.
This week, indicative offers remain in the $1,020-1,040/t fob bracket, depending on the supplier, volume and destination. However. there is a rising resistance from buyers, with these levels remaining workable only in the EU, where prices are highest, market sources tell Kallanish.
