CIS crude steel output reaches pre-coronavirus levels
CIS crude steel production increased in October to reach pre-coronavirus levels, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish.
Regional output amounted to 8.4 million tonnes, up by 4.7% year-on-year. In March it was 8.26mt, less by -6.2% on-year (see Kallanish passim).
In January-October CIS crude steel production was still down -1.9% on-year to 82.6mt.
Output in October was also more than the 8.17mt recorded in September.
