CIS crude steel output increases in February

CIS crude steel production increased marginally year-on-year in February, according to the latest data from the World Steel Association (worldsteel) monitored by Kallanish. Regional output amounted to 7.93 million tonnes in February, up 0.1% y-o-y. During the first two months of 2020, crude steel production was 16.4mt, or -0.6% less than in January-February 2019.
