CIS crude steel output decreases in March
CIS crude steel production decreased year-on-year in March, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish.
Regional output amounted to 8.26 million tonnes, down -6.2% y-o-y. During the first quarter of 2020, crude steel production was 25.1mt, or -0.6% less than in January-March 2019.
