CIS coil export prices hold up
CIS hot and cold rolled coil prices for export markets were on the high side of the range last week, supported by strong domestic demand, market sources tell Kallanish.
A Russian mill was asking $520/tonne fob for HRC and $570/t fob for CRC, rolled in September and delivered in October. The mill, though, is not accepting bids below this price, say sources.
"We offered $510/t but they are not accepting," a trader informs.
