CIS coil export prices fall further
CIS-origin hot and cold-rolled coil export prices have continued to decline during the week, pressed by strong competition amid weak demand in export markets, market sources tell Kallanish.
Mills have reduced their asking prices to $440-450/tonne fob for HRC and $485-505/t fob for CRC this week, according to traders. Some mills have, though, raised their offers by $10/t in the last day or two, reflecting the rebound in Chinese HRC prices.
