Rare matching bids, offers buoy CIS billet market
Black Sea billet exporters have returned to the market in order to close some of their January-casting books, but as was expected, they were forced to sacrifice on their price ideas. Lower-priced, bid-level offers were made and achieved sales, but plenty of January-casting tonnage is still left to close with more trade anticipated this week, traders tell Kallanish.
