Choo Bee Metals reports lower Q3 losses
Malaysian steel firm Choo Bee Metals has reported lower losses in the third quarter, underpinned by improved profit margins, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a bourse filing that its net loss narrowed to MYR 2.76 million ($590,000) in the third quarter from MYR 13.56m a year ago.
The improved margin was due to lower average raw material prices cushioning softer average selling prices and less write down of inventories.
