Chongqing Steel, Baosteel Resources set up mining JV
China's Chongqing Iron & Steel signed a joint venture contract with Baosteel Resources on Wednesday 5 January to form Baowu Jingcheng (Zhoushan) Mining Technology Co., Ltd.
After the establishment of the joint venture, it will carry out iron ore blending and processing in Zhejiang Majishan Port, with an estimated capacity of 20 million tonnes/year, Kallanish notes.
