Chongqing private mills update capacity replacement details
China’s Chongqing Zuhang Iron & Steel and Chongqing Yonghang Iron & Steel purchased steelmaking capacity quota in mid-2017 from Hebei Langfang’s Xinli Iron & Steel (see Kallanish 28 July). The Chongqing city government has produced an update on the new equipment to be installed by the two steelmakers to enable them to use the quota, Kallanish notes.
