Baosteel adds blanking line in Chongqing
China’s Baosteel has started up a new uncoiling and blanking line at its Chongqing automotive steel plant, according to local media sources.
The new line has a designed annual processing capacity of 50,000 tonnes, Kallanish notes. The facility will include a single pressure blanking machine, a laser cutting machine, a 32 tonne crane, two sets of 10-tonne cranes and an air compressor machine.
