Chonggang hot tests billet caster
Chongqing Iron & Steel (Chonggang) has successfully hot tested its No.7 continuous billet caster this week, Kallanish notes from the company.
It took about five months for Chonggang to complete the upgrade of this caster, which will give further support to its long products output. The caster was upgraded to a six-strand billet caster, with capacity of 1.4 million tonnes/year.
