Chizhou Guihang unveils EAF upgrade plan
A capacity replacement plan shows that China’s Chizhou Guihang Metal plans to upgrade its only electric arc furnace within a year from June 2023, according to the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Anhui.
A new 130-tonne EAF with 1 million tonnes/year capacity is planned to be built at the existing plant in Qianjiang Industrial Park, Chizhou City, Kallanish learns. The company will also add two 130t ladle furnaces for refining.
