Chinese rod export prices drop in quiet market
China's wire rod exports bottomed this week with deals very limited. Overseas buyers are holding back orders as they are unsure about the upcoming market trend.
Kallanish assessed 6.5mm diameter mesh-grade wire rod at $530-535/tonne fob China, down $5/t from last week.
