Chinese rod exports gain on strong domestic market

Chinese wire rod export prices gained slightly this week, due to the domestic market rising briefly. Kallanish assessed 6.5mm diameter mesh-grade wire rod at $545-550/tonne fob China, up $5/t from last week.
