Chinese steelmakers boost ex-works prices
Most Chinese steelmakers have been boosting their 1-10 December ex-works prices over CNY100/tonne ($14.52/t). Frequent production restrictions due to air pollution, and heavy induction furnace cuts in big steel production provinces Jiangsu and Shandong have stimulated steel prices over recent days, Kallanish notes.
