Chinese steelmakers announce maintenances in September
Chinese steel producers increased production overhauls on blast furnaces, rebar mills and flat product mills at the end of September. The recent sluggish spot market transactions has prompted steel mills to choose overhauls nearing the October holiday, Kallanish notes.
