Chinese steelmakers add November maintenance
Four steelmakers in China have newly announced production overhauls in November, affecting output of iron, long products and stainless steel flats, Kallanish notes.
Tianjin Iron & Steel plans a four-month maintenance of its 3,200-square-metre blast furnace from November 2019 to March 2020, company information reveals. This is expected to reduce 7,500 tonnes/day of iron output during the period.
