Chinese steel mills cut production as margins shrink

The slump in Chinese steel prices and expectations of weaker demand in the coming weeks are encouraging steel mills to schedule maintenance to reduce production. Kallanish learns from public data that between the end of May and June, a total of ten steel mills will suspend production of some equipment for maintenance.
