Chinese mills continue to cut long steel prices
Major Chinese steel mills have continued cutting their late April ex-works prices for steel longs by CNY 180-290/tonne ($26-42/t), continuing the downtrend in longs prices since mid-March. Spot market prices rebounded slightly at the end of last week but are still being undercut by lower ex-work prices, Kallanish notes.
