Chinese shipbuilding slumps over Jan-Feb
Chinese shipbuilding volumes were down sharply over January-February 2016, dragging down steel demand from the sector. The sharp drop may not be continued for the rest of the year but does cast doubt on expectations that shipbuilding steel demand may hold steady in 2016, Kallanish notes.
