Chinese shipbuilding completions slow in May
China's shipbuilding industry saw a 1.4% year-on-year growth in May, far below the growth rate of the past three months. Due to the weakness of China's economy and the early release of end user demand, finished steel demand in the shipbuilding industry has also slowed, Kallanish notes.
