Chinese scrap imports go quiet after price collapse

Chinese scrap prices continued to decline last week amid the weakened steel market, although the recovery of steel prices starting from Thursday triggered some higher mill prices on Friday. Importers, meanwhile, are wary of booking and their bids are also declining.
