Chinese rebar pulls out of slide

China's steel market continued to weaken in the first half of January but regained some confidence by the end of last week, Kallanish notes. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 4,210-4,230/tonne ($650-653/t), down CNY 135/t from the previous week.
