Chinese rebar pulls out of slump

Chinese rebar prices plummeted last week, but a recovery in market sentiment helped futures prices to rise on Friday, Kallanish notes. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 4,950-4,970/tonne ($761-764/t), down CNY 150/t from the week before.
