Chinese rebar falls slightly on weaker demand

The Chinese rebar market has depressed slightly after the October holiday, Kallanish notes. Demand in the spot market weakened again late last week. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 3,680-3,700/tonne ($517-520/t), down CNY 10/t from the Friday before the October holiday.
