Chinese rebar stays stable, outlook unclear

The Chinese rebar market has experienced a quiet week as traders have stopped activity ahead of the Chinese New Year holiday, Kallanish notes. In Shanghai on Thursday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 3,640-3,660/tonne ($530-533/t), unchanged from the previous week.
