Chinese rebar increases on demand

China's rebar prices saw a greater rebound last week as demand grew stronger, Kallanish notes. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 4,580-4,600/tonne ($700-703/t), up by CNY 35/t from a week before.
