Chinese rebar holds, wire rod export prices decline
The Chinese long steel market remained quiet in the last half-week before the holiday, but domestic traders expect it to rise after demand returns. Sluggish market sentiment, however, led to a slight drop in wire rod export prices, Kallanish notes.
