Chinese rebar holds but HRC slumps
Chinese steel futures prices continued their mixed performance on Wednesday with rebar steady and hot rolled coil continuing to drop sharply. The market was jittery as a new default was ongoing at a small met coal miner but the direct impact on steel markets was not expected to be large, Kallanish notes.
