Chinese rebar hits two-year high

The Chinese rebar market continued to rise sharply last week alongside surging futures prices, reaching a new high for the past two years, Kallanish notes. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 4,110-4,130/tonne ($626-629/t), up CNY 145/t from the previous week.
