Chinese rebar gains on recovering demand

Trading in China's construction steel market picked up last week, with futures companies building up inventories, Kallanish notes. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 4,040-4,060/tonne ($587-590/t), up CNY 20/t on-week.
