Chinese rebar remains flat despite Shagang hike
Chinese rebar prices fluctuated slightly over last week but ended up flat from the previous Friday. Despite low inventories and restrictions in Tangshan, traders still report fairly flat end user buying, Kallanish notes. Shagang however hiked its prices for late July, suggesting it expects a better week ahead.
