Chinese rebar falls on slow buying

China's rebar market was in a slow declining trend last week, with transactions impacted by depressed demand due to high temperatures. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 3,630-3,650/tonne ($501-504/t), down another CNY 10/t, Kallanish assesses.
