Chinese rebar prices fall despite inventory decline

Chinese rebar market prices are continuing to fall, even though market inventories have been declining, Kallanish notes. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 3,310-3,330/tonne ($467-470/t), down CNY 60/t from the previous week.
