Chinese rebar drops without confidence

The Chinese rebar market has continued to decline with weaker demand and less cost pressure from raw materials, Kallanish notes. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 3,570-3,590/tonne ($528-531/t), down CNY 45/t from the previous week.
