Chinese rebar declines on weaker expectations

Chinese rebar has maintained a downward trend in the past week. Demand has dispersed, and traders expect little boost in the near future. In Shanghai on Tuesday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 4,380-4,400/tonne ($671-674/t), down CNY 60/t from the previous week.
