Chinese rebar declines amid rainfall

China's rebar market fell slightly last week as the rainy season in eastern and southern China destabilised demand for construction steel. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 3,640-3,660/tonne ($501-504/t), down CNY 10/t, Kallanish assesses.
