Chinese rebar boosted as supply pressure eases

China's construction steel market rebounded last week as market sentiment has been boosted with the easing of supply pressure. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 3,650-3,670/tonne ($498-501/t), recovered by CNY 50/t from a week before, Kallanish assesses.
