China makes preliminary anti-dumping determination for stainless products
China has found that dumping of stainless steel semis and hot rolled coil from Europe, Japan, Korea and Indonesia has harmed the domestic industry. Authorities have begun taking security deposits ahead of a final decision on duties next week, Kallanish notes.
The anti-dumping investigation began in July 2018, according to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce. The commodities involved are stainless steel billets and slabs and stainless HRC.
