Chinese October coke exports slump, imports rebound
Contrary to the previous month, China's coke exports fell sharply in October while imports rebounded, according to data from the General Administration of Customs.
China exported 502,756 tonnes of coke in the reporting month, slumping by 60.4% on-month but growing 27% on-year. This took ten-month exports through October to 7.8 million t with a surge of 40.2%, Kallanish notes.
