Chinese MES threatens 300,000 Polish jobs: steel association
The potential granting to China of Market Economy Status (MES) would put 1.7-3.5 million EU jobs at risk, of which 145,000-290,000 would be in Poland, according to Polish Steel Association (HIPH) head Stefan Dzienniak. The EU’s gdp growth could thus decline to 1-2%.
