Chinese May auto production recovers on policy support
After being hit hard in April, China’s May automotive production rebounded slightly thanks to government stimulus policies amid ongoing lockdowns in many cities. Automaker in particular have been under pressure to resume operation to support economic activity in Shanghai and the surrounding area, Kallanish notes.
